Great gunWorked awesome for me. I am not a professional and the paint job turned out better than many professional jobs I have seen. Paint pattern was outstanding with very little adjustment and layed on beautifully. Very pleased with this gun, I definitely recommend it.

Way Better Deal Than Harbor Freight Black Widow.Solid entry level gun, comes with way more than the black widow Eastwood gun. Much better warranty, much better price. Especially if you catch it on sale. Blows any harbor freight deal out of the water. Did my first paint job with it in much less than ideal conditions and am very happy with the result.

From its lighter weight to its awesome ease of use, it is truly something EVERY DIY’er to professionally painter must have at their fingertips. I am sincerely impressed and like most people say, “thats not an easy thing to do.”

Works good on typical shop compressorI am a hobbyist and am lucky enough to have a 25 gallon compressor. Its CFM rating is not as high as what is required for a lot of HVLP guns. I had poor results with a cheap gun from HF, but wasn't ready to pay the "big bucks" for a gun.
This gun's specs seemed to fit the bill, especially since it had parts to spray primer as well as finish coats. Its CFM requirements were also lower than most pro guns as well. I've been careful to give it clean, water free air and am very happy with how it operates. I've only painted two cars in the last three years, so I am in no way a "pro" but I wanted good results and I got them.

Great bang for the $I’ve been using this at work sometimes multiple times a week for a year now, makes a great primer and paint gun for a budget. This gun can lay paint like glass.
I want to use the Harbor Freight "Spectrum" Universal Paint System Refill Pack. Does anyone know what adapter I might need for the Concours 2 so I can use their Spectrum Paint system?
Asked by: Chinaclipper
not sure if you got your answer yet but yes the HF universal paint system will work w/ the concourse 2. i have and am currently using it. i am happy with the product. you need both packages. one has the cup w/ liners and the bigger one is just the refill pack. the only bad thing about HF is that they only give you one cup and one lock cap in the box.. perhaps all of them are all like that. i would have liked 2 of them at least. you also need the adapter which should be above the paint guns.. i do not remember w/ one but it would be the female thread since the gun has a male thread. although i have no complaints w/ HF paint system i may purchase Eastwoods cups if I run out. nothing on HF, just i have committed to use all eastwood products for my build since they seem to be a solid company both in there stores and online. very helpful and i also enjoy their online videos.

I’m about to purchase a new gun for a restoration project. Painted a lot years ago but never used an hvlp gun. I have 8 cfm available with 60 gallon tank. Considering the concours 2 or the concours pro. Are they the same ? What’s different / better?
Asked by: Timbo
Out of the 2 paint guns in reference- the Pro will consume a bit more air in comparison which tends to atomize products better.

It was and still is advertised on the website as using 4.25 cfm. Great, but then I open the paper catalog that was in the shipping box. It list the cfm requirement as 5-9cfm. Which is correct? Thank you.
Asked by: Tracy
5-9 CFM is correct. Sorry for the confusion.

Kevin Tetz in Eastwood's Painting 101 video recommended a 1.4 tip to spray metallic color. I must use one of the metallics to nearly match my jambs, etc. which I am not painting. Can I get by with the 1.3 tip in this kit?
Asked by: John
Using a 1.3mm nozzle set to apply metallics is not recommended. It can cause clogs depending on the flake size.
