Definitely recommendWish I had bought it years ago. The crimper took 3 tries to figure out what worked best, but then I was able to use it even in cramped locations under the dash. Sure made packaging the wiring easier, and in the race car the weather tight connectors won’t vibrate loose.

Very nice kitAs a home gamer, this worked perfectly for my needs. Not cheap and shoddy, not so professional it was unobtanium for a DIY-er. Had all of the bits and pieces, spares, etc, in case I kooked up the first attempt. Came with clear, easy to follow instructions as well. First connector wasn't even a throw away!

Waterproof connector kitYou will want to make a few practice crimps assemble and disassemble a male female pair a few times before moving into your project. Your next few after that will be more fulfilling.

Does the crimp tool make both crimps at the same time? In other words, does the crimp tool secure the terminal to the wire and to the insulator simultaneously or must the terminal be repositioned and crimped again?

The crimping tool will crimp the terminal to the wire and the seal at the same time. You can see the tool creating this crimp in the first video at the 45 second mark.

I bought this kit and received it today. What is the difference in the two slots on the "h7" and "h6" dies that you put in the pliers? To clarify the two dies do different size wires but the 2 slots on the dies don't tell you what size wires for crimping
