The Eastwood Crimp-Right Weather Pack Crimper & Connector Kit allows the serious automotive DIYer to install weather-tight connectors with tools that were previously only available to the professionals. Replace damaged factory-installed connectors or add accessories while maintaining full factory wire harness integrity. With our crimping set and free resources, you’ll have everything you need to crimp 12- to 20-gauge wiring right in your own gauge. This kit contains more than 200 weather-tight electrical connectors, including crimp terminals, silicone wire seal inserts and receptacle housings in various sizes. You’ll also receive a weather pack connector crimping tool, two sets of interchangeable crimping dies and a terminal clip release tool — all of it organized in a heavy-duty case. Definitely recommend
Wish I had bought it years ago. The crimper took 3 tries to figure out what worked best, but then I was able to use it even in cramped locations under the dash. Sure made packaging the wiring easier, and in the race car the weather tight connectors won’t vibrate loose.

Very nice kit
As a home gamer, this worked perfectly for my needs. Not cheap and shoddy, not so professional it was unobtanium for a DIY-er. Had all of the bits and pieces, spares, etc, in case I kooked up the first attempt. Came with clear, easy to follow instructions as well. First connector wasn't even a throw away!

A good complete electrical connector kit
I have used these weather tight connectors before on car builds and they work very well. The Eastwood kit has a good selection and includes the crimping tool. It is reasonably priced.

Waterproof connector kit
You will want to make a few practice crimps assemble and disassemble a male female pair a few times before moving into your project. Your next few after that will be more fulfilling.

The gauge wire used will determine maximum current, not the connectors. The maximum current rating will vary based on the wire length and voltage.

The crimp tool included with this kit is only designed to crimp the weather tight connections.

This crimping kit only has the capacity of crimping 12 to 20 Gauge wire.

Does the crimp tool make both crimps at the same time? In other words, does the crimp tool secure the terminal to the wire and to the insulator simultaneously or must the terminal be repositioned and crimped again?
The crimping tool will crimp the terminal to the wire and the seal at the same time. You can see the tool creating this crimp in the first video at the 45 second mark.

I bought this kit and received it today. What is the difference in the two slots on the "h7" and "h6" dies that you put in the pliers? To clarify the two dies do different size wires but the 2 slots on the dies don't tell you what size wires for crimping
