The Eastwood Modular Work Bench is built tough to handle what ever you need to throw on it. With a max loaded weight of 1600 lbs and a large 59.5" x 27.5" work area, this is the workbench for all of your needs.
In order to do the job right, sometimes you have to take a component or part to a solid work surface that offers stability and sturdiness. Working with a part while it’s on the ground may not lend itself to getting your tools in the proper position.
This heavy-duty metal workbench will quickly become a reliable partner in your restoration projects. Made with a top and legs of 14 gauge steel, this shop table handles up to 1,600 pound easily. The legs are adjustable to ensure a stable, wobble-free surface.
The 59.5-by-27.5-inch work surface is surrounded on three sides by a 2-inch fence, helping to keep your auto body tools and parts safe from scattering. And the powder-coated finish ensures this metal workbench will be ready to work for as long as you need it.
This workbench is perfect for handling a variety of jobs around your home or garage, from auto body work to carpentry.

Packaging isn’t the best and mine came with some minor damage and scratched up which I wasn’t happy about. Other than that very solid work bench and very sturdy. Easy to out together.

Riveters are over matchedSeveral problems.
Table shipped with two of side supports uncovered and loose on top of table. Top scuffed as a result. Coating has areas of orange peel and some edge areas missing coating. Table top has one dent. It is a kinda an assembly table so not the end of the world but disappointing.
The sheet metal c channel used for stiffening the top is supposed to be riveted in place. Rivets were installed in table top holes for no apparent use, only one channel actually was riveted in place (the rivets were the wrong length - you could push them up and down. I had to drill out 2 rivets to install one leg because the channel was riveted at a angle with 2 rivets (one per side). Ultimately, I drilled them all out all rivets and used sheet metal screws. You guys would do better to eliminate rivets and ship with sheet metal screws for buyer install. If you actually installed the right length rivets in the right locations they would be acceptable, but your assemblers are over matched.
You have a web address to deal with problems. The mailbox is full and will not accept any transmittals - gives you some idea how often the file is even opened.
The benefit of you table is it is cheap and pretty usable for light duty homeowner stuff but it is so poorly assembled it doesn’t even work for this. So despite all the hassle involved to replace the rivets, it is still a pretty decent deal.
What are the inside dimensions between the legs, from ground to front top rail, and the depth? I'm trying to see if me rolling toolbox will fit underneath the bench.

Can this bench hold a table top lathe machine and is it stable enough do use with lathe on it? What is the maximum weight metal lathe would it take l?
Asked by: Getitdone
This table is rated to hold 1600 lbs. It could certainly hold your average benchtop lathe. It might be worth putting rubber pads between the lathe and the table for vibration dampening. Bolting the lathe to the table and the table to the floor would help maximize stability too.
