Great toolI had an initial hiccup with the first one I ordered, but Megan in customer service took very good care of me and resolved the issue. Used it to install a brake bias valve in a road race car that had 6mm DIN lines. Flares were all just too easy to do. Happy customer. This was also my first Eastwood experience. Pretty happy with the company so far.

Amateur mechanicWorks great. Like the fact that you can make a flare on the vehicle. Some other flaring tools do not make flares on the vehicle. Had trouble with one double flare. Probably operator error.

BUY THIS TOOL!!!Excellent tool. Made the flares perfectly. The tool is made with quality products and it feels like i could run it over with my car and it would still work. Everything i expect from an eastwood tool.

What is the difference between this tool and the mastercool tool you also offer?
Asked by: Jimbob
Except this Eastwood tool does not work with stainless steel lines as the Mastercool flare set will. That makes the Mastercool a better and more useful tool.

I need to double flare 1/2" tubing. .035 would be the thinnest I could go. I .049 would be better. I was asking about .065 tubing, but after reading, I don't think it is possible to double flare that thick of wall. Is .049 or .035 possible with this tool?
Asked by: Eric
.049 would be a stretch and the results could not be guaranteed. .035 would be the safe one to you use and should give you the best results.
