Rated 5 out of 5 by from Todd the Car Guy I bought this about 5 years ago now and have used it many many times. It is by far the best flaring tool system I have ever used. It gives you a perfect double flare every time. I have the tubing straighteners as well so now I buy coiled brake line in bulk. I also bought a tray full of fittings so no more trips to the Autoparts Store in the middle of the job. I am very pleased with this kit. Mine wasn’t on sale so it was over 400.00 and i’m still thrilled with the purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST FLARING TOOL!!! This is the best and easiest flaring tool i've ever used. I was using an OTC master kit and this one blows it away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great I used this tool to flare all new fuel and brake lines on my 1966 Pontiac GTO. I was working with nickle-copper lines in 3/16", 1/4", and 3/8" OD, and it did an amazing job. I prefer the handheld flaring tool such as this rather than the type that is held in a bench vise because it allows you much more flexibility to flare tubing on the vehicle if you need to.

Questions & Answers

What is the difference between this tool and the mastercool tool you also offer?

Asked by: Jimbob
Except this Eastwood tool does not work with stainless steel lines as the Mastercool flare set will. That makes the Mastercool a better and more useful tool.

I need to double flare 1/2" tubing. .035 would be the thinnest I could go. I .049 would be better. I was asking about .065 tubing, but after reading, I don't think it is possible to double flare that thick of wall. Is .049 or .035 possible with this tool?

Asked by: Eric
.049 would be a stretch and the results could not be guaranteed. .035 would be the safe one to you use and should give you the best results.

does it do GM jiffytite trans line to radiator

Asked by: Gary
I have this kit. It does not come with the trans dies but they are available separately. Be careful ordering because mastercool had the wrong part number for the trans dies and I had to send them back because they were for the fuel lines which are in the kit.
