Must have for vehicles on and off roadFantastic tool, I used it not on a road vehicle but on a side by side. A Kawasaki KRX 1000 and I was changing out the sagging factory springs. A safe way to deal with the incredible danger of compressing springs.

Perfect for Removing Rear Springs on Ford FiestaI needed to replace the rear springs on my 2018 Ford Fiesta, but there was not enough room to use my conventional spring compressor that clamps the spring from two sides. I purchased the Eastwood spring compressor, which allows you to access the spring from one side, and it worked perfectly. The muffler on the right side made the work a little difficult on that side, but there was just enough room to get the spring off. When installing the new spring, it is important to keep the orientation of the new spring the same as the old spring so that it seated properly in the upper mount.

What is the maximum coil wire diameter this is rated for (i.e. 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", etc.)?
Asked by: BiRd
This tool is not rated or sized by the thickness of the wire the coil spring is constructed of. This set features three Yoke sizes that will accommodate coil spring outside diameters ranging from. 3.13" to 7.63". Actually, the number of coils and the spacing between them along with the stiffness of the spring material more directly affects the rating of a spring than just the thickness of the wire it is constructed of. It is intended for cars and light truck use only.
