Awesome Product
I have a 1929 Hot Rod with a powder coated frame and many powder coated parts, this polish brings on a shine and leaves the surface slippery as glass so the dust and dirt just blow off. One suggestion is always get your powder coat followed by a powder coat of clear for a great finish.

Salvaged the abused powder coated surfaces on my sidecar
I have a motorcycle and sidecar that we have towed on an open trailer behind our truck camper for 6 years and 80,000 miles. We use the sidecar for local transportation once we park the camper. With the road grime hitting the powder coated bike and sidecar, it was getting pretty beat up. The tonneau cover ground the dirt into the powder coated sidecar finish. I tried a number of products to clean up the soft powder coating with nonsatisfactory results. I was to the point of considering disassembling the sheet metal and having it powder coated again. It just looked dirty all the time. I disassembled the bike when it had 13 miles on it to get it powder coated. I knew that paint wouldn't hold up to the abuse that we were going to subject the bike to.
Then I noticed Eastwood Powder Coating Polish. I bought two containers to try it. Figured I had nothing to loose since the next step was a full refinish. The flat exterior surfaces cleaned up very well. The interior surfaces where equipment had ground in dirt and stained the powder coat didn't clean up as easily. With a lot of elbow grease, the interior will clean up better. But I am extremely pleased with the exterior flat surfaces.
The only exterior surface that did clean up very well was the front fender scratches. I was stopped by a herd of 50 Buffalo. Some of the curios 2 week old calfs saw the motorcycle and made a beeline for it. That brought the mothers and the rest of the herd to the bike. It's very disconserting when three calfs start linking your leg right by the hot air-cooled engine with mothers looking at you four feet away!! Then the couple thousand pound herd bull walks up to the bike and rubs his chin on the front fender. The Eastwood Polish didn't take out the deep scratches that the Buffalo put in the front fender, but I didn't expect anything to be successful. Of course, my wife says that we can't refinish the fender because it's too good a story!!!

Questions & Answers
Will this work submerged in water after application?
That is not the intended use of the product, to be under water. It is safe for use on surfaces that may come into contact with water, as it is designed to maintain and protect finishes, including those exposed to moisture.

I have yellow powder coated gym equipment. The re looks like "swear stains" that won't wipe off. Will this possibly work?
As long as this is a solid yellow that is gloss in finish- this should work on the application in reference.

I have exterior black gloss powder coated aluminum window frames on my boat that are slightly oxidized and have wear and tear...30 years old. Will this product restore those frames - mainly luster and appearance? How long will it last ?
Yes, this should certainly aid in the revival of this powder color in reference. Unfortunately, there is no way to know how long this will last- there are too many variables that play in to determine this.

wiped my coated red trailer down with orange cleaner to clean it really. quick. And who would of thought on the tops of square tubes every where it stood it left it almost a dull white!!!!! please how can i get it back to shine red again.?
This product is designed just to help bring shine to powder coat that may have faded. However, we have never tested it for this application.

I just got outside railings powder coated. They are a flat finish. When it rains the finish gets spots on it. Would this polish work on these railings to prevent the spots.
This polish will not work for this application. It is for solid gloss finished powders only.

could you use this for powder coated furniture? The chairs I have are black powder coated but not sure of the finish. They reflect light but i would not say they are metallic.
As long as this is a black gloss finish (not a matte or a satin) and there is no metallic in this finish then this should certainly be able to be used for this application.

How much do I need to buy to chrome some small black parts on a Harley, such as switch houses and reservoirs?
Your reference Eastwood's Powder coating Polish(15862) but I feel you meant to reference Eastwood's Extreme Chrome Bonded Powder Coat(15999). we sell this powder in an 8oz bottle(15999) for $19.99 or a 1LB bag(15999LB) for $37.99. An 8oz bottle will go a long way on small parts. The Extreme chrome Powder should be clear coated with Eastwood's Full Gloss Clear powder(10093)
