Most Durable and Longest Lasting

Rust Encapsulator Platinum is the most durable, longest lasting rust encapsulating coating we have found. Independent lab testing of salt spray ASTM# B-117 testing has proven Rust Encapsulator Platinum has surpassed ALL competitive products tested and exceeded the 1500 hrs., torture test.

Rust Encapsulator Platinum Beats the Competition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rust Encapsulater Platinum I recently used on atv and boat trailer wheels. It works great. I bought the quart size and brushed it on. You can use instead of primer and it is ready to top coat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice product flimsy lif This goes on nice and smooth, I've been rolling it on.p Just stir it up really good. The only problem I encountered was the lid to the can is so flimsy it just kept bending and I damaged the lid getting it off . Had to use masking tape when putting lid back on to ensure it was sealed. The actual product works great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Rust Encapsulator easy application Used on my project Jeep YJ, application was easy, if you spray with HVLP gun you are going to want to thin it a little, covers nicely, top coated with extreme chassis black. We will see how it holds up but I’m confident it will do well. Pleased with the product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product Easy to apply. Had to scrub a tiny spot off for a welding contact. I was impressed with how strongly the paint was attached. I'd buy more for another project.

Questions & Answers

Can I use corroseal or a rust converter first and then Eastman platinum?

Asked by: Paul
Rust Encapsulator Platinum is similar to a converter. Eastman Platinum is our best rust system, insuring rust stops. You can convert rust although you would be encapsulating then a no rust scenario that already been converted. Rust converter just turn rust into a paintable surface Depending on the amount of rust you can decide which way to go.

1) What is the life in the can before and after opening? 2) Is the bulging can that others have experienced a common fault?

Asked by: Paul
I don't open the can until I'm getting the last little bit out of the can. I drive a few nail holes in the can and then re-seal the can by pushing the nails back in the holes. Then I put in the refrigerator to make it last longer.
