Just got itI use it extensively in a body shop. The motor seems to struggle to maintain consistent torque at times. Its still new but sometime i'm afraid the motor is going to give out already. The trigger lock dont work very well either. It keeps poping out and at times i would need to hold it in.
Is it a delayed start up or does it jump right right to a 1000 rpm

It takes just under a second for the unit to spin up. Not an instant start, but not a slow start either.

32488 Polisher ? The information and the video state it is a 10 amp motor with a 5/8” x11 arbor. But why does the picture of the buffer say 5/16” x 24 thread with a 7.5 amp motor . Please let me know and then correct the photo info please.

Thank you for your accurate observation. The Eastwood item #32488 Polisher does have a 5/8" X 11 Arbor and it does have a 10 Amp motor. Unfortunately there was an error on the web site that listed the specifications for the Eastwood item #32489 Variable speed 6" Orbital Sander Polisher which has a 5/16" X 24 Arbor and a 7.5 Amp motor. This discrepancy has been reported and the changes will be forthcoming.
