FAQs

Curing this or other manifold coatings in the oven is NOT recommended as the fumes are unpleasant, and warpage may occur. Coating has a bright cast aluminum look. This coating cannot be polished to a chrome-like shine. No thinning is normally needed for spray application. If thinning is desired use mineral spirits.

Reviews

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Goes on with a dull aluminum finish and stays that way. I have purchased this product over a ten year period and have always been satisfied with the results. You first wire brush the exhaust all the way from the headers to the furthest rear pipe before applying paint and they remain that way for a very long time. Just be sure to thoroughly mix the paint before using. I find sponge brushes work the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good stuff! This is such an amazing product. I used it on my exhaust manifold on my Chevy 350 and it went on easy, smooth, and just looks great. What a difference from the old rusty looking manifolds before I painted them. I used a small soft paint brush and it came out great. I liked it so much I even painted the intake manifold. It really makes my engine look super and shows I am very proud of my truck.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! I purchased Eastwood Silver Hi-Temp Paint to paint the trim and decorations for an antique wood stove. This paint is fantastic! It goes on smoothly and has great coverage. It dries quickly and accepts a second coat in less than two hours. A little amount goes a long way. I had a lot of areas to paint and used two coats. I only used about one fourth of this pint size container when I was done. The silver color has a beautiful sheen and looks almost like nickel plating. You WILL NOT be disappointed with this product!!!!

Hi! Can this be used on a black fireplace front? Thanks!
