With all the dangerous solvents, strippers and other chemicals available to clean your car's parts, sometimes all that's needed is water and some high pressure.
The Eastwood Liquid Media Blaster is specifically designed to use high-pressure water from a gas-powered pressure washer as a source for powerful dust-free abrasive blasting. With this sturdy attachment, you can tackle tough cleaning jobs without the use of elbow grease or potentially harmful abrasives.
Strip old paint away, clear out rust or clean off grime from metal or concrete easily with our high-pressure liquid blaster. You won't need a compressor, and you won't have to worry about heat buildup on the surface. Since there isn’t any abrasive media dust to breathe in, you don’t need a ventilation or dust collection system, making this a great budget sandblasting solution.

Pressure washer blasterWorked great as adveritsed I used ground glass as opposed to glass beads ( much cheaper at $15 per 50 lbs)
Wish they would make a wider nozzle as the target area of the medium is only about 3" My conventional sand blaster hits an area of 8-10"

Works well with the right psi pressure washerJust an FYI for anyone interested. This thing works very well with a high psi pressure washer and kiln dried 30 mesh sand. My pressure washer is the big one that Harbor Freight sells, 4000+ psi. You can get the sand in 50 or 100 lbs bags at some aggregate yards, and even some retail hardware and construction supply stores. I just bought 10 bags from an ACE Hardware franchise near my house. Keep an eye on your ceramic nozzles, once they wear out, the brass is being eaten up. I blasted every bit of a full size flatbed I built, all cross members, etc. Took it down to bare metal and left a nice, toothy finish. Had to post this because I'm watching a lot of people try this sort of thing with a little household pressure washer and it doesn't work nearly as well with those. Then they tell people it just doesn't work.

is there a way to adjust the feed amount of media material?
Asked by: F85 Guy
You would have to install a gauge or shutoff inline to reduce the amount of liquid being delivered.

How well does this workv in graffiti?
Asked by: Steve1234
It depends on the surface that was painted and the type of paint used.
This system is extremely effective.

1) What type media to use with this to strip a car?
2) How much media would I need for an entire car?
3) What is the needed rating for the pressure washer?
Asked by: micka13
We have a blast media selection chart here that will assist in selecting the media. As far as how much media it will take- there are too many variables that play in to determine how much media it will take. A rough estimate for an entire 4 door vehicle (on average) would be about 5/6 50lb. bags. The pressure washer needed is 3.5 gpm (gallons per minute).

Can i use a medium black beauty abrasive?
Asked by: Turbo
as long as it is 30 grit media or finer (30 or higher number) and not sensitive to moisture (which Black Beauty should not be) it should be fine. You will need to check the grit with the manufacturer though.
