EXCELLENT TOOL!
Replacing radiator support in 2010 Honda CR-V, and needed too to get to tight areas to remove spot welds (have the Eastwood spotweld cutter, but some places still tough to get to). This filled the bill nicely. Even though wife asks "What ELSE will you ever use it for?" I can see it becoming a favourite tool!
It is well built and very versatile.

Very happy
Grabbed this at the Pottstown store yesterday to grind down some welds in a tight area. Worked great, did exactly what I needed it to.
Note - buy extra belts. I did the job with one belt but, it was shot by the time I was done.

Good tool
Needed a tool to grind welds in tight areas. Works well to access these areas. Belt tracking easy to adjust as is the removal and installation of belts.
A tool well worth having in your toolbox.

where do you get the 3/8 x 13" belts. This is an odd size
I ordered my replacement belts for this off Amazon. They are a very standard size And have a very large array of grits. I think I've even seen 400 grit or something close to that on amazon.

Can this be used to remove seam sealer? If so, what grit. Thanks
The Mini Belt Sander will be a good tool for removing the seam sealer. 60 Grit sandpaper would be your best grit for this application.

IS IT A VARIABLE SPEED TRIGGER? HOW TIGHT IS THE BELT? IM RETURNING THE ELECTRIC(EASTWOOD) ONE BECAUSE THE BELT DRIVE AND TENSIONSYSTEM IS FLIMSY AND IT THROWS THE BELT TOO EASY.
This unit offers a variable speed trigger and a robust belt tension system.
