worked great
i bought this years ago to do skins on my second gen firebird,i actually managed to get them installed fully ON THE CAR with this tool!!
Now remember it's NOT guaranteed to eliminate all damage and i do have some on the fender side of the door, HOWEVER it's MINIMAL and will require minimal filling, i used step 1 all around the door and got a nice flat crimp, i DID have to start the crimp on the bottom a bit as these were aftermarket panels and the edge was open far more than 90 degrees to fit the panel to the shell, step 2 is not gonna happen with our classic thick door metal it's designed for modern thin thin sheet metal ("high strength steel") but of course you CAN modify the opening on step 2 to fit the thickness you have, so no reason to complain there we ARE craftspeople RIGHT? and we ALL have modified a tool here or there.
All in all it took 15 minutes to crimp the door edge with my small 20 gallon compressor and a cheapo air hammer well worth the price, but it won't make an expert out of a shadetree

Worked pretty good
Used it to put on a full door skin on a 70 Chevy pickup. Worked good for the full door, it was a little more difficult on the door patch panel I used it on couldn't use the second step on the door patch had to finish it up with a hammer and dolly. And I still had a little body work to do along the door edges but I likely would have also if I had just used a hammer an dolly. Not a miracle tool, but it did save a lot of time especially on the full door skin. Going in the tool box in case I need it in the future and well worth what I paid for it.

Okay, not as easy as the video
I guess it worked okay. Used it for door skin on 65 Mustang. Had to use hammer an dolly in order to get the first step to work. Then had to really force the Skin Zipper for the second part. Mine didn't move as fast as the video. Also tried using the 3m Adhesive but that didn't help, also didn't want more crude along the area where I'm gonna weld. Then afterwards had some little dents that are gonna have to be fixed. But was easier then using the hammer.

Very good tool , works like the video says.
The Skin Zipper door skinner tool worked great for me. I had to peel the skin off my 78 Ford truck door to repair some rusted metal. I' not a body man, but with the Skin Zipper, putting the door skin back in place came out looking like a pro did the work. I have a 70 Nova I'm restoring and have door rust on it too. I am going to get an extra replacement head for the Skin Zipper just to have to have on hand.
