I need to maintain a mirror finish on my silversmiths raising and planishing hammers as well as my T stakes that are used in raising.. Will this stainless buffing compound produce a mirror finish? Thanks.
Thank you for your question: This buffing compound alone will not produce a mirror finish. Not many will.
It is possible with a lot of work to do so. Please refer to a " How to Guide" for all the steps necessary for your specific application. Although stainless steel is one of the hardest metals to polish, you can restore its original shine or mirror like shine.
Our Eastwood Combo Buffing Kit for Stainless Steel item# 13271k is a good start. 32031 Stainless – (Light Gray) For buffing stainless and other steels, chromium, nickel plate and some harder plastics. Use with Spiral or Ventilated buff wheels and buff motor. Do Not use on gold or silver.
