Completes the package
Great addition to the deep shrinker/stretcher. It's day and night using the shrinker on the stand compared to the hand lever. In my opinion there should be a combo package if you buy both at the same time. An extra $10-$15 off would have encouraged me to buy both initially. In fact it's a mandatory addition in my opinion.

Solid, good price, instructions need revisions
The stand is very solid and well built. The long actuating rod was slightly bent or the welded nut end was welded on crooked. Not enough to affect how it works. The instructions need some work. It states that the Foot Pedal has a threaded pivot which it doesn't. You have to insert a threaded axle (which is not shown on the parts list) into the Foot pedal. It also says to use the 20 mm long bolts in this axle "threaded pivot" (axle in my case). They would not work on mine. I used the 15mm long bolts here and the 20 mm long bolts where the directions said to use the 15's. One last thing, I could not get the "Actuating Clevis" to fit on the rocker arm. The slot in the clevis was too narrow or the arm was too wide (however you want to look at it). I ended up doing a little grinding and filing on the inside of the clevis to get them to fit.

Sturdy stand
I brought this stand with the elite shrinker/stretcher, was disappointed to see the base of the stand that bolts to the bottom brace was damaged in shipping. One of the corners were bent, looks like someone dropped the box. I straighten it out with a few blows with my 3 lb hammer and a little paint. So far seems very sturdy and was easy to adjust. Started bending metal soon after assembly.

I have the older blue heavy duty shrinker stretcher, will it fit this stand?
Unfortunately, this stand is not transferable to the older style.

What is the distance between the holes (center to center) that mount the Elite shrinker - stretcher?

I would buy 2 of these if one of you guys could figure out if it can be used for your economy model shrinker stretcher
As of this time we do not offer a way to allow you to use the economy shrinker, stretcher for use with the Elite Shrinker Stretcher Stand.
