Description
A gas lens improves shielding gas coverage by distributing shielding gas around the tungsten more efficiently with less turbulence than a conventional design. A gas lens also allows the tungsten to protrude further out of the torch for more maneuverability and better visibility of the area you are welding and of the arc itself.
This kit specifically helps with gas coverage when welding Stainless Steel, where wider coverage is needed to keep the weld clean throughout.

I have the everlast tig welder with the sr-26 would this kit fit ?

This kit has only been tested with our tig welding torches.

I have the Eastwood tig200 and I bought the lens kit for it and I was just testing it out I was having problem welding aluminum with it on ac. I didn’t have a problem welding stainless with it. I switched back to my furick setup and it worked just fine.
Aluminum is very sensitive to proper shielding gas flow. Ensure you have the correct flow rate for the gas lens you're using. With larger cups you may have have to bump the flow slightly higher than the stock recommendation.

I have one set of gas lenses from another vendor that did NOT fit my torch, so I want to be sure. My Chicago Electric (Harbor Freight) cheapo TIG rig has a torch that says "WP 26" on the handle, and looks like a WP 26. Should work, right? Returnable?
It certainly sounds like you have a number 26 torch and our gas lens kits certainly fit number 26 torches so you should be good to go. If you find the parts don't work a simple call to our Customer service team can get you taken care of.
