Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice welding cart. At first I thought a welding cart was a luxury. Once I got started I realized it it was a necessity, especially in a small, crowded shop. It's so nice to have everything together and contained - trigger cable, ground cable, gas bottle, clamps, pliers, magnets, etc. - and to be able to quickly push it aside when I'm not using it. Very helpful. It is sturdy and rolls very easily. The shelves are very handy for storing the above mentioned items and my helmet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality for the price. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and ruggedness of this cart compared to other similar carts on the market in this price range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase A great cart with a 300 pound capacity that nicely accepts the welder and tall mixed gas bottle, all that for a great price, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Eastwood MIG Welding Cart - my added improvements: My added improvements for protection and safety. Line the shelves with a roll of Harbor Freigh Tool Box Liner (18" x 72" roll) material to protect the paint for a little over $6. Then cut a piece about 7" wide by 18" long to put on the back where the tank locates so the paint will not get scrubbed off the rear panel. For safety to keep the safety chains in place so they can not come detached from the grove they slide down into, I got four 1/2" bolts and four 1/2" nuts along with 8 large 1/2" flat washers (one for each side of bolt) and put them in through the holes and tightened then down lightly. This is the perfect size to go through the holes on the back panel to keep the chains from coming out of the slots when pushing cart around on uneven ground outside. With my 80CuFt tank, the chains fit tight, so I had to pull on them to get the chain to slide into the slot because it secures the tank better. One of the chains was just a tad loose, which I did not want, so I twisted the chain one turn and everything was nice and tight. It only cost me $4.13 at Home Depot for the bolts, nuts, and washers, which in my opinion is cheap for SAFETY of not allowing chains to come off and take the chance of tipping your tank over and busting the gauges and pulling the MIG off of the top shelf. I know some will think that the hole is 3/4" the chain goes through, but believe me the 1/2" works great, are less expensive, and the large flat washers is what keeps the chains from coming out of their slots. It is just the normal size washers in their bulk bins, but they are large in diameter. This size fits flush with the rear panel. While this cart looks the same as the Harbor Freight one, notice the wheels are larger. With the Eastwood Cart. The Harbor Freight Cart has the axle much smaller than the holes in the cart and would need to have bushings. So, the bottom line is you get what you pay for. Eastwood has specifications they make the manufacturers built their products to, Harbor Freight does not have specifications, they just sell what ever junk is shipped to them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy Cart! Good Quality! I bought this cart with the MIG 135 in a bundle. When I was putting it together I couldn't help but think about how nice it was for the asking price! I really don't think I could've come across anything better for the money and it will most definitely serve it's purpose!

Will this cart fit your new MIG 180 on the top shelf?

Asked by: Rokodon
It does fit but it is too small once you put the tank on it. The hose presses against the tank and eventually cracks the hose.

Will this cart work with the Elite MP140i

Asked by: Jasonengine
ZachC is wrong. I put this together yesterday & my brand new MP140i did NOT fit without bending the top shelf front lip down to a 45 degree angle.

Does this Cart Work for the Elite MP140i Welder????

Asked by: Rob W
No it doesn’t unless you modify it. I just put this together & my MP140i was held up by the top shelf front lip. I had to bend that lip down to approximately 45 degrees for the welder’s front feet to fit flat on the shelf. My top shelf also had a slight twist in it that prevented the welder from sitting flat in all 4 feet.

I have a 50# tank which actual weight is around 185# when full doesn’t give cubic feet, will this cart fit this tank ??

Asked by: Skaee welding llc
The largest bottle that fits this cart is a 125 cubic foot bottle which should weight approximately 71 pounds. It sounds like you have a huge bottle which will not fit on our cart.
