Description

The 8CW Multitool Attachment mated to our 1HP industrial motor will turn you into a master bladesmith! The oversize 8 inch contact wheel makes this a favorite among knife makers, blade sharpeners, and axe throwing competitors. The large contact wheel is perfect for flawless hollow grinds. Due to the size of the contact wheel the 8CW allows for additional belt cooling over traditional 2x48 belt machines. The front contact wheel can be used for smooth controlled grinding, contouring, or internal finishing.

The precision top platen can be used for perfect flat finishing. The underside offers a slack belt surface for external contouring and blending. The large 7 inch disc sander on the side offers plenty of surface area to work with for beveling, deburring, squaring, and general sanding. The quick change belt system allows you to change from grinding to polishing in seconds. The belt attachment can operate in a horizontal or vertical position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st day Grinder showed up on a Sunday! Well packaged. All parts present. Plenty of power to run the system. Belt tracking works great. I wish the instructions were clearer. For my needs I'm leaning towards rotating the head down to vertical. This should cause all my metal dust to drop straight down. Miter attachment I bought may be a problem as it will rotate as well. Depending on how difficult the the rotation is, it may be possible to move it back and forth depending on the application.
