When heavy duty calls.When you think heavy duty power cord, this is what comes to mind. Although it comes in a 25ft length you can’t beat the heft of this power cord. You could run over this with your truck and not worry. (Wouldn’t recommend making that a common practice)

High quality cordAbsolutely massive thickness. I bought this to use with some tools in the shop that use a VFD and specified not to use an extension cord. I wanted to make sure there were no issues with the VFD. I've only been using it a few days, so far no issues.

Will this work for the Eastwood 180 Amp MIG Welder running on 120v household outlet? And then the 240v setting would require the higher rated extension cord. Would that higher rated extension cord work for both 120v/240v settings?

This cord would work perfect for the MIG 180 utilizing a standard 120V outlet.
You are correct, the heavier cords (20285 & 20029) could be used for both 120/240V, but you will need an adapter to plug the heavy duty cord into a standard household outlet.
