Description
ATK HP24 Jeep 4.6L / 4.7L Street Stroker Base Engine, or Stage 1 Engine, is designed for those that may have their own component parts already and who also are interested in completing out the build themselves. A Chrysler base engine typically consists of the following: Short Block, Camshaft, Timing set, Cylinder heads, Valve covers, Timing cover, oil pan, oil pump & pick up tube.
Engine Specifications:This engine will reuse your stock parts from your tired old 4.0l while providing more power and reliability. Your engine may not necessarily come with all components listed, but they are listed as our recommendations of parts to run for optimal performance.

Notes: This engine will work with all stock components, but ATK recommends a cold air intake, headers, exhaust and chip for maximum power potential.

Soooo I wanna turbo my xj. Its a 93 and i want a solid block to run 12-20 possible pounds boost, would this be a possible powerplant for something like that??

will this work in a 99 jeep cherokee? will i have to get different injectors?
I too have a 99 Cherokee with a 0630 head yet this one does too but don't work. But the one I'd have to get is the 0331? Isn't this head gonna crack cause the 0630 was the Chrysler attempt to fix head cracking. Why do I want to get ride of a ok head to get a head that's got a bad rep for cracking or do I have my head done and put on one that uses the 331 so I'm good
