Description
ATK HP94 Chevy 383 Stroker Base Engine, or Stage 1 Engine, is designed for those that may have their own component parts already and who also are interested in completing out the build themselves. A GM base engine typically consists of the following: Short Block, Camshaft, Timing set, Cylinder heads, Valve covers, Timing cover, oil pan, oil pump & pick up tube.

- Bore/Stroke: 4.040” x 3.750”
- Displacement: 383CI
- Crankshaft: Scat Nodular Iron external balance rear of crank/internal balance front of the crank
- Rods: Scat I Beam 5.7” Rods with ARP 8740 Bolts
- Pistons: Hypereutectic 9.7:1 Compression
- Rings: Moly
- Camshaft: Hyd. Roller
- Cam Specs: 220/224 @50 .528in/.536ex 110LSA
- Timing Chain: Double Roller
- Cylinder Heads: ATK High Performance aluminum with 2.020 in. /1.600 ex. valves
- Rocker Arms: Billet aluminum roller rockers 1.6 ratio

Can I use the stock manifold and fuel injection system from a 98 gmc 350?
This engine will require more fuel and airflow then the stock manifold and fuel injection system will be able to provide. Use of a standalone fuel injection system is recommended
