Rated 5 out of 5 by from Review I was able to use this the other day over body filler and it feels like it might be lighter than Eastwood’s contour premium body filler. I haven’t sanded it down yet so I don’t know how well it’ll sand off but it lays well

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would recommand this product to anyone This goes on smooth and dries fast but not too fast and removes pin holes easily

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I like it Works good for me. Probably should have bought a bigger amount though, didn’t realize how tiny it would be. Way better than Bondo and similar to Upol.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Good Product It finishes very nicely and feathers to a fine edge. However, it does clog the sand paper on the initial sanding of its surface. Overall a great product at an affordable price.

Questions & Answers

I have some scratches on my truck that have gone through the clear coat and it looks like it is to the primer will this product work on that

Hello,  Can this be applied directly over a 1k primer?

Asked by: Kevin
While this product can be applied over a 1K primer with no compatibility issues, it will not provide the best adhesion and corrosion strength possible. We always recommend using our fillers either over bare metal, or a 2K catalyzed epoxy primer.

I am looking to use a glaze like this on steel for a fine powder paint application. The powder paint cure in oven is approximately 350-400 F. Will this material stand up to that processing temperature?

Asked by: Rich
This will not withstand the temperature range required to bake to cure powder. For use when powder coating the only option we really have is the High Temp lab metal found here: https://www.eastwood.com/hi-temp-lab-metal-24-oz.html

Just to be clear, I take it this is basically just polyester filler ("bondo") formulated to the consistency of lacquer glazing putty?

Asked by: rick
Essentially, yes.

I just watched 2 different videos on a method of removing clear coat runs on fresh paint job. Both used a 2 part polyester putty/filler to surround the run. starting with 320 grit thru 2000 until all the filler is gone.Could this be used for that?

Asked by: 418mustang
You know, I only just heard about that method of sanding runs and sags. I'm assuming they're just talking about good ol' spot putty for that which I'm thinking will be a lot softer and easier sanding, and a whole lot cheaper!

Can this be used on top of platinum rustecapuslator I want to do a little filling on aluminum alloy wheels

Asked by: Daniel
Yes. Wait until the product is thoroughly cured and scuffed prior to applying this over the top and you should be fine.
