Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great inexpensive fluidizing hopper Ive had a few fluidizing hoppers and you cannot beat the price on this one. You cannot just send it with a fluidizing hopper you will always be setting and reset ing the fluid air. Im a fan of the syphon air on top over powder pumps. Im definitely buying a few more to dedicate my high use powders. Powder flow is better great consistency i filled it 3/4 full then ran it down to the bottom with no change in powder flow. For my shop this is perfect size hopper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Junk The ones that came with our original machine and the one they sent to replace the first one, both had cracks around the fluidizing disc. No matter how you set it up to their specs it’s constantly spurting. The only way to avoid it is to turn your pressure down to almost zero and when running a business that’s just not efficient. The whole PCS hot coat setup is overpriced junk.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not produce consistan powder flow If filled with powder. Powder will pour out of the gun uncontrollably fast. If filled with less than one pound powder will not come out of gun without having to take hopper and shake vigorously like as if we’re a paint can. I would not waste my time or money with Eastwood powder coating products. Take the time and research other who have used this machine and you will find out it is a very poor machine for the price.

Questions & Answers

Can this be used for actually doing coating on preheated parts where you did the part in the fluidized powder? Or is this just exclusively meant to feed a powdercoating gun?

We only test for it to be used as the "feed" for the powder coating gun/ system itself.
