Protect air-powered tools in your shop with an Eastwood Complete Filtration System.
It’s one thing to kick up a little dust while working on a project. It’s another thing to use strong chemicals with powerful fumes when cleaning certain parts.
Filters particles down to 1-micron
Air Pressure Regulator
0 to 150 psi air pressure gauge
Integral mounting bracket
The Regulator features a 0 to 150 PSI Gauge. It also features an integral mounting bracket for secure mounting and can be easily upgraded to air drying capability with the optional Eastwood #51567 or DeVilbiss #130524 Desiccant Kit.
But using compressed-air tools is another matter entirely. Those tools are powerful and require a significant investment. But if the air that’s fed into them contains contaminants or other impurities, it can cause damage at one of the most critical points of your tools. As for painting: The No. 1 enemy of painting or powder coating is moisture.
Eastwood’s Complete Filtration System solves that problem. This system is equipped with a high-capacity canister with a 1 micron coalescing filter, as well as a petcock drain to trap moisture. It can also be adapted for applying desiccant.
This air filtration system for garage shops gives you everything you need to work with confidence and protect your auto body tools.

Great product with even better price.I’ve only shot a couple of times with this and I have a separator & filter at the compressor,, this is the secondary filter at the 50’ mark and I run a “cheapo” plastic filter at the gun. Zero contamination. This is well built and feels solid. I did add the desiccant filter option. Having the extra regulator is a bonus. Price is very home-hobbyist friendly. Very happy.

Great finish filterNice filter we are pro auto body shop this isa great finish filter for paint booth
I've got one of these plus the Eastwood scroll compressor. I've read that the filtration system should be at least 20 ft from the compressor due to the heat. As I can't manage this can I just use a 20 ft hose between the two?
Asked by: John
The air coming out of the scroll compressor doesn't get hot enough to cause concern. I think it is ideal to locate the filter/regulator system further downstream, however I do not think it is the end of the world if you have it right off the compressor.
Personally, I have had one of our Rockwood filter regulators about 2ft off my QST30/60 air outlet for a few years now and have not noticed any issues with the performance.

What's the inlet and outlet sizes of the NPT fittings used on this
Asked by: John
The CFS has a 1/2" Female NPT inlet and a 1/4" Male NPT outlet off the regulator.
Answered by: Nick BC

My shop is 30 feet wide by 50 feet deep. With the compressor in one of the front corners. Where should I mount the CFS? My Rapid Air line runs down one side of the shop 40 feet with three outlets.
Asked by: John
If you want it to regulate all three outlets you can mount it close to the compressor side. If you want to only regulate one there is no problem mounting it right at one of your outlets. I don't believe the mounting location has a large effect on function otherwise.

Will this work for a plasma cutter?
Asked by: Jimmagg
This is great for a plasma cutter. If you feel like you have excessive moisture in the system or operate in a humid environment you can swap out the filter to the #51567 DVB QC3 desiccant version for better moisture absorption. That will improve the consumable life.

Do i need to purchase two of these to run a dedicated air tool line and dedicated painting line? or can i just swap from regular filter to desiccant when painting.
Asked by: Simon
If your dedicated tool line is going to utilize a line oiler for tool lubrication you would need two separate lines, otherwise you can use the desiccant unit for both tools and spray guns.
