Excellent primer
This product work excellent when preparing sections at a time. It may be a little more expensive than shooting from a gun, but saves a ton of clean up time!

will this primer work for polyester vein powder coat
This can not be used on a surface that you will be applying powder coat over and curing. It will not withstand the temperature range that this would subject this primer to.

I am planning to use the Eastwood Chassis black paint on my chassis parts and drive train "pumpkin." What primer do you recommend and should I clear coat the chassis paint afterwards?
If you're going to top coat with Eastwood Chassis Black we suggest the Extreme Chassis Black Primer Item #11193.It is the perfect foundation formulated specifically for Extreme Chassis Black and Original Chassis Black

Can this primer be applied over a scuffed factory paint and fillers?
It is possible t apply this over existing products. However we can not guarantee with anything we do not sell so we would have to advise you to test a small area first before applying liberally to the whole surface; just to make sure a negative reaction doesn't occur.

can i spray lacquer base coat over this primer

1) Can this product be applied over acrylic lacquer primer? 2) Can this product be top coated w/ acrylic lacquer?
Well, I just put it over some lacquer primer -- no ill effects. I have one small high spot that I needed to build up around that area; just a hair from some hammer and dolly work. Product sprays terrible, relative to just leaking all underneath the nozzle - half the product was leaking on the floor. Bad can perhaps. That said, after one pass (dry overnight), then blocked again today, it appears to be doing its job (high build).

Can this be used on top of eastwoods self etching primer?
It can not- the two would chemically react.

I’ve sprayed 1k cans on my frame and now sprayed this over it. As long as I don’t sand through this coat, can I spray 2k paint over this?
While I didn't put it over a 1k, just over a sanded away clear and scuffed base coat. I ad no issues laying down 2k on top of it. Having the flow dial is actually a really helpful tool to have and why I chose this over their 2k primer.

Can i use rally wheel argent silver (lacquer) on top of this?
Yes, our Silver Argent is able to go over this primer.
