Description
METAL GLAZE Ultra is the world's best sanding polyester putty for use as a finishing coat over body filler, large panels, or small spot filling. Its unparalleled sanding qualities are a result of the patent pending EcoResin. Its unique thinner viscosity makes it ideally suited for intermixing with other Metalworks products to improve flowout. Formulated with ZNX 7 for improved adhesion. For use on Sanded Body filler, Steel, Galvanized Steel, E Coat, Aluminum, Rigid to Semi rigid Thermoset Plastics, SMC, Fiberglass (cosmetic repairs only), Cured sanded 2K primer surfacers, Sanded OEM paints.

Application Tips
Clean and degrease with Eastwood PRE. Use 80 to 180 grit to remove or scuff the paint and featheredge. Place the desired amount of material on a clean, non fibrous surface. Measure hardener 2% by weight Mix thoroughly until uniform color is achieved. Spread a thin layer of mixed material over surface using firm pressure. Apply additional layers if desired. Do not apply over new or uncured coatings. Avoid thick heavy applications. Finish with 180 grit, final sand with 180 grit followed by 220 to 320 grit if desired.

How thick of a layer can you put on will it fill small dents
You can use any of our fillers.

What’s the set time for this product?
Generally with proper hardner mix ratio's you'll lget a 2-3 min working time and about 10-15 till cured to sand.

Can this be applied DTM?
You can certainly apply this filler DTM.

Why not 1K primer, I know they say 2K is better, but I don't know what makes it better.
2K stands for 2 components. It is a product that requires a catalyst/ activator. These coating will always give you greater durability and adhesion in comparison to 1K coatings.
