Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful product I highly recomend! The filler actually works better then I expected, its a bit runnier then other products I have used in the past but I am sure that helps with the blending process. I also notices that it takes less hardener then I am used to, so beware how much you add as it flashes really quick.

Can I use this filler product of yours over the top of a existing bondo job, someone originally put on the car to repair some body work, I just want to touch up the area with 1/8 inch of filler?

Asked by: Jason G
We can not guarantee adhesion with our products and products we do not sell. For best results we would advise you to remove as much of the existing as possible or test a small area first.

Can I apply the Polyester body filler over the Rust Encapsulator platinum? Also, can I coat over the body filler with a line-x material?

Asked by: Joe L
Yes, body filler can certainly be applied over top of the Platinum. We can only guarantee compatibility with bed liners that we sell- but our can certainly be applied over top.

Can this be used on plastic parts?

Yes, it can be used on plastic in small amounts. A better product to use would be the Contour Glazing Putty. http://www.eastwood.com/eastwood-contour-glazing-putty.html

I'm restoring a grader/snow plow. I've taken it down to bare metal except where there are very small pin holes. Can I apply this material over the pin holes even though there is still paint, primer and possible rust?

Asked by: Sailor
In your pin hole areas, if there is any rust in the pin holes, they will need to be treated with something like rust encapsulator. A better product to fill pin holes would be Metal To Metal, item #10021ZP. This product is water proof and much stronger then regular body filler. https://www.eastwood.com/metal-to-metal-filler-quart-with-hardner.html

Item #14757ZP does this come with hardener in the quart or is it sold separately?

Asked by: bbww
The Eastwood Contour Body Filler does come with a Cream hardener. If you would happen to need more hardener, it may be purchased separately. Item # 14064. https://www.eastwood.com/body-filler-cream-hardener-red-2-75oz-tube.html

How long is the Eastwood Contour Body Filler workable after adding the hardener? I have used other fillers, but I always seem to end up with a wad of filler hard on the board before I get it spread.

Asked by: Finally Its Ed
On average it's about a 10 minute working period once mixed.
