Application Tips
Works on metal, paint, glass, plastics and rubber. Surface must be clean and free of wax, grease and debris. Product must be at room temperature. Place the caulk bead over the joint and press firmly into joint. Caulking material will not crack or shrink.

My 98 E350 is leaking from rust holes around the third brake light. Would this caulk work or is there a better product to seal around the light?
I recommend you stopping or encapsulating the rust first.
YES, you can use the sealer you were asking about.
Then you may consider SEM 1K Sprayable Seam Sealer - Black 10 oz Plastic Tube 29492 (58497Z)
if you would want to paint over it this may be the way to go.

I am bolting wings back onto the inner wings Classic car the fit is poor. I used a product similar to product 13524 chalk in 1972 and have experienced no corrosion. Is this the product to use or would you recommend another one..
You can certainly use this product between your inner wings. This product can be painted over.

Hi, How would you recommend cleaning up excess caulk? I have used the strips to water proof the ventilation windows of my classic car, and have been a little too generous, so there is quite a bit of caulk on the paintwork and the glass. Soap and water?
We would recommend either PRE or mineral spirits.
