Rated 5 out of 5 by from Take notes and you will WIN!! I had to use the product 3 times but it works! The fine diamond pad and the polish is pretty much all you will need. IMPORTANT! Keep pads flat againt glass and exercise patience. It took me about 2 hrs of work time each session. I messed up by tilting accidentally and it takes a long time to get out a mistake. But now i have the method and feel and I honestly tell you it works! Now if it was my ford or dodge I would just recommend replacing the windshield for 300 bucks...but my mercedes windshield is extremely expensive with all the sensors and infared so i wanted this to work so badly.... Other reviews that say it doesn't is because they obviously do not possess the talent needed...it is not easy at ALL! But it does exactly what it is supposed to..good luck! And thank you eastwood!

I just got my windows tinted on my SUV and now scratches on the outside are now very visible. the scratches are from rolling down the windows when ice was stuck to it in the winter... will this kit work or should i get the regular kit?

We can not make that determination without seeing the window/scratch. You will need to decide. If you can catch a finger nail in the scratch you will need the deep scratch kit. This is a labor intensive operation so allow plenty of time to do it,.

How come 50% of the reviews give only 1 star?

Removing deep scratches from glass is not easy and takes a lot of time and patience. This product works well when used as directed.. I would always start on a small area first as a test a learning point. Please read all the reviews good and bad.

This kit will not work to remove welding splatter and is designed for use on glass surfaces only.

I am restoring an old car that someone has taken a knife or keys to all the windows. They are deep and cover entire window surfaces. I am planning on replacing front shield. Is it worth polishing the rest or is replacement recommended.

The deep scratch glass polishing kit will remove some scratches. This process does take a very long time and you will have to move around the glass so it will not get distorted. It will not remove very deep scratches.
