They are suitable for any metal surface and most cure at a temperature of 400 degrees F at 20 minutes after flow out. Safety Information

When applying powder always apply it in a well ventilated area away from heat sparks and open flame. Always use a respirator rated for dust while applying powder. Always store powders in cool (less than 80 degrees Fahrenheit) dry (60 percent or less humidity) well ventilated area away from heat sparks and open flame.

Application Tips

CLEAN - Thoroughly strip and clean your metal part before coating. We recommend Eastwood Pre Painting Prep.

COAT - Apply using Eastwood DIY HotCoat Gun 11671A or the Eastwood Dual Voltage HotCoat Gun 11676.

CURE - Cure the part in an electric oven for recommended time. NEVER use an oven that is used for food.

Can this product be used over previously powder covered part without stripping?

I've only used Extreme Chrome and top coated it with Clear Powder coat without any problems. not sure how the Colored powder will work

What coverage does a pound provide? How much to coat an engine block, oil pan and cylinder head covers?

Depending on size of components 192.3 square feet of coverage per pound of powder. Using these assumptions, the formula for ACR = 192.3 x Material Utilization / Film Thickness x SG = Square Feet Per Pound of Powder.
