Eastwood Powders are far superior to liquid coatings. They provide an extremely durable finish that is chip resistant. All Powders are formulated of the highest quality materials and are chemical and fuel resistant. Eastwood Powders are durable enough for under hood applications and heat resistant up to 250 degrees F. They are suitable for any metal surface and most cure at a temperature of 400 degrees F at 20 minutes after flow out. With Eastwood powders, you can be assured of high transfer efficiency and brilliant colors.

CLEAN - Thoroughly strip and clean your metal part before coating. We recommend Eastwood Pre Painting Prep.
COAT - Apply using Eastwood DIY HotCoat Gun 11671A or the Eastwood Dual Voltage HotCoat Gun 11676.
CURE - Cure the part in an electric oven for recommended time. NEVER use an oven that is used for food.

This is a great gloss clear for the money.
This is a great gloss clear for the money. I have tried a few others, even some of that cost more, but this is about the best one I’ve used. It might just be me, but it seems to flow out not sure if you hot lock it.

Too Shiny!!
Great product, I thought I wasn't going to be able to apply it being the first time to apply a second coat after the main paint, but after reading the instructions it was so easy!

has a very high luster and looks much like chrome but must be clear coated which takes its lust away

Not impressed with this over Chrome. Looks like silver/grey paint.
Perhaps I can improve application and curing, but first tests were not impressive. You are not going to fool anyone about this being chrome - not even from 20 feet away.
Application seemed easy enough. I’ve only used this over chrome powder at this point.

Dulled the chrome power verses making is lustrous
When using the chrome powder it is suggested to top coat with super gloss which in my experience removed the chrome look. I had also tried a clear spray topcoat and that did the same.

Experiment before you do your main parts.
I need to experiment more with the clear powder coating. I tried it over the chrome powder coating. It didn't turn out very well. However, I am the first to say, It could have been user error.

Hi Can this power coat be used on motor parts, like water pump an aluminum parts.
As long as its bare metal, cleaned and prepared well, and does not contain any other components that will melt in the oven at 400°F, it can be powder coated.

Hi, I want to powdercoat an item Black first, but then after I want to apply clear on top to give it more shine, Do I spray the clear on top of the black before its in the oven?
You have to cure one powder before applying the next. The easiest method is to fully cure the black then hot flock the clear on and cure it.
