Questions & Answers

I know your system calls for finishing stainless and aluminum in white rouge/loose section wheel. Would adding a 4th step of jewelers rouge/flannel wheel add extra pop for show car trim? Or would this be a waste of time? Has anyone tried this method?

Asked by: Jake
It has been tried with no real benefits noted on stainless steel. Jeweler rouge is designed for soft metals such as gold, silver and brass. it has very little effect on harder metals although some have reported that they can see a small difference on aluminum trim.

What compound do you recommend for use on chrome plated plastic?

Asked by: jrod
To shine up chrome plated plastic we recommend using Simichrome Polish item #13047.
