If you have ever tried to weld a patch panel into a spot where you can’t access the back side, these rare earth magnets are a life saver. Do blind patch panel welding with 20/20 vision by getting a set of stitch welding magnets from Eastwood. These N35 nickel-plated rare earth magnets will firmly hold your patch panels in whatever position you place them. By placing the ½-inch magnets every few inches along the seam, you can perfectly align panels with no gap or a small gap depending on your welding technique. Can’t access the backside as you weld? Get the fitment just right first, place a few magnets, then go around to the front side and work with confidence.

These 12.7mm diameter x 19mm length rare earth neodymium nickel plated magnets are design to offer superior panel alignment when welding patch panels. The magnets are heat-resistant up to 200 degrees and support several pounds each for use with MIG, TIG, stick or flux-core welding. You don’t need to try to make clamps work or wait for a friend to come help— a pack of eight magnets is enough for almost any one-person DIY project. Place magnets about two inches apart along the weld seam to hold metal in position. Use our Top 3 Stitch Weld Magnet Tips and Do the Job Right with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee.

Questions & Answers
What is the "pull strength" of these magets?
Why should it cost $16 shipping thatS ridiculous. I wont be buying from you with rates like that.
Will these magnets hold a lower door skin in place when using a panel bonding adhesive, is clamping force sufficient?
How many do you get for the price

How much is the shipping weight for 1 Qty? It looks a weird question, but it's very important to me :)
I bought a set and I've noticed two things. 1) They seem to screw up the weld so you better not do any more than a tack if you are within a few inches of them. This is mig welding. Is that normal? 2) They chip if snapped together. Normal?
Do these magnets come in some sort of protective case?
