(A) No, standard 110v will work.
(Q) Do I need a welding mask when using this?
(A) It’s not necessary, but don’t look directly into the momentary flash.
(Q) How do I get the pins off after they’ve been welded onto the surface?
(A) After you’ve made your pulls, simply snip or grind the pins off.

Application Tips
The Stud Welder Dent Pulling System makes pulling dents from one side possible without drilling holes! Easy to use, simply remove paint from area to be repaired. Load draw pin into gun, push spring loaded stud welder gun against surface until outer contact ring touches surface, and depress the switch for.5 to 1 second to anchor the pin. Twist on the slide hammer pull out dent until flush. On larger dents when using multiple pins gradually work each pin in turn until surface is level.

Stud welder
Wow. What a great product. I watched many videos then started using the stud welder. The robot welder helped when I accidentally pulled too hard and created a hole. Very heavy duty plus made in the USA!!

Great tool at a great price
I bought this stud welder to pull some dents on a Porsche 356. It works great. It comes with Magna wire that enables you to pull a crease, it really works. Eastwood does not sell the J20037 5-Finger Magna Claw that I bought elsewhere. I am not a professional but like to use quality tools and I think this is one that is worth the money.

Excellent Product
I recently purchased the Super Pro Plus Stud Welder and have been throughly pleased with it's performance. It works great in areas where you have double wall metal. I used mine on the doors near the edge where there was no way to use a hammer and dolly. The stud welder did and excellent job of helping me bring the metal back out flush with the body. I would recommend this product to both professionals and hobbyists.

Bought this as a last minute Christmas gift for hubby. Didn't think it would get to me in time but it was under the tree for him. Bonus!!!!

why cant let some peoples pick the color stud gun just only those pink or purple whatever it is
This is simply the color in which Motor Guard molds their stud guns. We don't have a say in what color they pick. We're sorry for any inconvenience.

Does it work on aluminum
These stud guns will not work on aluminum. There are some out there on the market that do but unfortunately none of our models do.

what's the duty cycle on this? Also what's the warranty?
As stated this item is backed by a 5 year warranty. This unit has a 20% duty cycle at 65 amps...
