USC All Metal 2.1 lb is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great! I have been using this in restorations for years in the body shop. I do not recommend this being your final filler as it is porous to an extent, We have always used it after any metal patch or large repair is accomplished as a base layer for strength and rigidity. Once cured this stuff is rock hard compared to standard polyester fillers, but not brittle... Note though, after wiped and sanded let it sit for a day or so before applying other filler to this to make sure it has time to harden correctly. I would suggest using this on any area you have welded after it has been grinded and before plastic filler work. Outstanding product, been using for 15 years!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from FANTASTIC PRODUCT This filler is versatile with respect to mixing and application especially if only small amounts are used at one time; ie golf ball sized. Sands and feathers well. Very easy to work, shape, and sand. Seems to sand best by hand. Takes primer and top coats well and doesn't seem to shrink in a few days like some fillers tend to do. I am working in temps at around 55 degrees so I allow about 4 hours before I attempt a sanding operation. I will purchase more within one or two days from now.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Excellent product Excellent product! Like always Eastwood products are good quality and easy to use and get professional results. This one is overpriced. I found the same product at the local auto body paint store 15.00 cheaper!!!!

If the product has aluminum in it, will it react with the bare steel, 2 dissimilar metals through electrolysis? or do you prime first with a special primer?

Asked by: Daveo
No special primer is necessary as this adheres well to bare metal.

What is your best product for body filler for a cj2a jeep. It will go thru a oven at 400 degrees for proper time for curing the powder, olive drab green? Thanks

Asked by: Anthony07
The High temp :ab metal would be your best option for filling before powder coating: http://www.eastwood.com/hi-temp-lab-metal-24-oz.html.

What is the temp values for this product, can it withstand say 500° f for 20 mins? Can this be powdercoated?

Asked by: popcorn
This will not survive powder coating. It will not make it much past 200F. You should look into the High temp Lab Metal for powdercoating.

Can this be used to build up edges of fenders and doors to correct excessive gaps?

Asked by: hammerhead
Yes, it can be used to build up minor gaps. You can also use a fiberglass reinforced filler like Duraglas to do the same thing.
