Strong solid standMADE IN THE USA. You could really see the difference in quality. The vertical post on this is a massive thick 4x4 steel post. It is heavy and feels really solid. The welds I saw on this are thick and even all around. The powder coat paint is excellent. There are two stickers on 2 sides of the vertical post but they are easily removed if desired without damage to the paint. I left one sticker on the back to give credit to the shop. I strongly recommend this vise stand.

Outstanding product! This pedestal is super heavy duty! Very well built and sturdy. I actually mounted a depository safe on it. It is super strong. Highly recommend!!
The picture looks like it’s a wide 4 inch wide by 4 inch wide post (if the base is 12x12). The description says the post is 2 1/2 inch wide? Please check how wide is the post. and base. Thank you.

The vertical post is 4 x 4 inches. I ordered one and that is the measurement. The description where it says 2 1/2 inch square for the upright (post) is incorrect and needs to be updated. I contacted the manufacturer trick tools.com and I was told that the video shown on their website with the smaller post is old and all current posts are now made in the 4x4 size. I purchased mine from Eastwood -they have discounts on their website. This is a very well made solid product. I highly recommend.

Does this item have holes in it's base so that it can be bolted to the floor?
