Great tool for fast removal of everything bad.Very easy to set up and use. I add the rubber cup from a toilet plunger (old style) to retain used material. Works great!

Best Blaster Gun by EastwoodProduct is awesome but it sucks that replacement tips can not be individually ordered by size. I like the 1/4' tip but as I recall the pink ceramic tips arrive in 1/8", 3/16" and 1/4" with a brass air jet. The air jet lasted me 4 years before it finally wore through with Garnet media. I use it in my Eastwood sandblast cabinet I bought in 1991.

Works very wellOrdered this blast gun a few weeks ago to replace the old cheap one in my red cabinet. The old one basically didn't work at all. This gun seemed to have some features not seen at this price point. The dual-tube pick-up in nice, and the nozzle is easily removable for cleaning.
Overall it works very well. Fast and aggressive delivery of black blasting-sand. Be super diligent about keeping the intake tube buried in media.
If the gun stops delivering, I'll check the pickup first, and then unscrew the tip. The media can get clogged in the tip. Probably this is from some moisture in my lines - I've not added any dryer yet. The tip is easy to clean and you don't even need to open the cabinet door.
Overall I'm very happy with this.

Works great, great valueOnly thing to be aware of is pressure. It seems to work best around 50 psi or half trigger on my set up. So a cheap pressure regulator may help if you're going to use it for a good length of time.

Worked great.I had a similar product that was not of the same quality and that didn't work well. I thought my compressor just wasn't up to the job. But the Eastwood product worked well. My compressor still isn't quite big enough to keep up, so I have to take breaks and let it catch up.
I have 2 projects: 1) Strip paint & moderate rust from steel 2) Strip paint & light corrosion from aluminum. Afterward I will powder coat the parts for both projects. Can I use the same type of media for both, or must I use 2 different types of media?
Asked by: Lonstermon
Yes you can; it will just take longer in some instances vs others since the media used will need to be safe for use on Aluminum. This option here would be your best bet: https://www.eastwood.com/blast-media-glass-bead-50-lb.html

I am loking for a nice portable sandblasting...soda...walnut...bead unit to remove scale of water feature rocks on pools. Sometimes the rock is soft. Need a portable unit, correct tips, dryer and compressor. Any suggestions?
Asked by: Bubba
Please keep in mind we strictly test for Automotive use only. These blasters will not work with the walnut shell as it is too coarse of a grit. From the feedback we've heard from customers and personal experiences you really should not use anything other than soda media on a rock, concrete or brick surface as abrasive media would be too aggressive. A great option for a portable blaster would be https://www.eastwood.com/portable-soda-pressure-blaster.html. Please contact us directly at tech@eastwood.com or by calling 800-343-9353 with additional questions. Space to type is slightly limited.

Can you provide a link or model # of a portable air compressor that's big enough to run this blaster please?
Asked by: Jimmy
Unfortunately, we do not offer any portable air compressors that will have enough cfm to provide adequate air to operate this blaster problem. All of our compressors are not designed to be portable.
