  • Eastwood 50lb Pressure Abrasive Blaster
Eastwood 50lb Pressure Abrasive Blaster is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small machine with big machine features I bought this machine hoping I could spot blast rust and refinish equipment. I thought I would need more air and a bigger machine. After I put it together and went through the adjustments I found this thing can do a lot of work. It's well built and my compressor keeps up with it. I couldn't be happier. It does require common sense and some mechanical ability to operate. I have read some reviews where it was clear the people not the product were to blame for poor results. The best advice I can give is keep the tank full. As the media draws down it can interrupt flow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works fine for the money Basically the unit performed as expected, had no issues with function or operation. It did an exellent job on the first project that I used it on and this reveiw is based on that, more use will be the real test but as of now I'm very happy with the way it performed.(ran 150ibs. of blast media through it this time.) It definately does use up the blast media fairly quickly and I had to reload it quite a bit but that is not a deal breaker. You can regulate how much output the unit has. I would definately recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little blaster! I've used this blaster to strip the frame of a truck I'm redoing. It worked really well. Only problem I had is I had to refill it quite often, I wish I would have gone to the larger size. But, this is a great little blaster for the money!

Can it in Grace in stone

Asked by: Johnjohn
If you're asking if it can etch stone the answer depends on what media you use. Since we deal with automotive uses all the data we have is for metals. This unit can run medias which are 80 grit or finer.

When blasting an aluminum boat it would be recommended to use glass bead media and not sand.

The abrasive blaster would certainly be the tool you need to clean paint and rust off of your vehicle.

I am looking for a sand blaster to do death dates on granite markers, will this work?

Asked by: Donald d
With the right media it certainly should be possible. With that said though since we are an automotive based company we have never tested to see which media's will properly blast granite.

What bout sifted beach sand?

Asked by: David
Sand of any kind should not be used. Not only is it a severe health hazard, the material is far too abrasive and will harm the internals of the blaster.

We have never tested any of our units for blasting with sugar. We would have no idea if or how it would function.

Looking for something to assist in refinishing furniture. Specifically sanding in nooks and crannies. Will this product work well for my needs? Thank you.

Asked by: miwife33
Since we are an automotive based company we have not ever tested our units in the furniture business. With that said though we have seen units such as ours used with soda media to clean up wood. Our 100 LB soda blaster should be a perfect fit to run the soda media for blasting wood.
