Best Available now daysThis isn't as effective as the old formula before the E.P.A. ruined it but is almost as good. The standard formula available is terrible now but this ULTRA formula has added components that makes it hands down better. I've tried about every manufacturer of stripper and Kleen Strip Ultra is the best I've found. Very potent odor and must use cartridge respirator with it. There's another that promises better performance but these "other" guys are twice the price. Looking at their instructions I feel it probably isn't much if any better. For now I'll stick with this, at least until I cannot get it due to Big Brother E.P.A. It isn't available in some states in stores only through shipping.

Product is extremely powerful and potentially destructive. TEST FIRST!TEST PRODUCT BEFORE USING! One star because it destroyed late 90's electroplated black chrome on wheel when stripping off the clear coat.
It removed the BC in places down to the nickel, mottled discoloration of remaining BC. Mirror finish gone. Attempts to polish back to mirror exposed more nickel. Had no problem working with old methylene chloride paint stripper. Now I have to find someone to replate this wheel - and it might be old school hexavalent.
no . but it's the close thing i've seen to MC.. this product uses mainly Cumene , Ethylbenzene and methanol ... I just buy the aircraft remover that they sell today and add the MC myself. you can buy it right on amazon
