  • Eastwood Bench Top Powder Coating Oven
Eastwood Bench Top Powder Coating Oven is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 29.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great For Powder Coating Projects I choose this Powder Coating Oven over buying a toaster over, because of its size and having two racks. I used it for a project of restoring the floor resisters, vent covers, in our home. It worked very well. Its light weight, you can see your project through the big glass door, it comes with two racks and a rack removal handle. It looks good and easy to store out of sight when not in use. If you use the Eastwood powder coating stand, the racks work perfect with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little Oven I have run a number of batches of parts in the powder coating oven, It is easy to load and unload and will work with parts up to the size of a differential cover. This oven is cost – effective and provides fast even heat. It takes up very little space, light weight and I rate at 5 out of 5 in its price range

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as described! I actually use this oven for cerakoting firearm parts, and as used so far, it works as it was designed too. The temperature seems to be within range and the timer is accurate, it's also light so moving it is not a problem I can't see much more to be asked of it.

Newbie here. If you powder coat a part that is sitting directly on the rack will the powder also hit the bottom of the part evenly? Or should you have it hanging with a wire from the top rack? I don't want oven rack lines to show up on my painted parts...

Asked by: RobW
If you're looking to powder coat a part which needs powder all the way around you're going to want to hang the part. This way you have access to all sides when powder coating.

Revised question: I'm looking for a TOASTER OVEN that features the glass door attached to the bottom rack with hooks: much safer than the cook pulling out a hot rack with dish on it. I had one years ago but haven't been able to find one since.

Asked by: Kathie
Our backing racks are not attached to the door and do not move when the door is opened.

Can this oven fit a 12” motorcycle rim?

are the actual internal dimensions only 8" high? In the video, it looks bigger than that, or is that a different oven?

Asked by: keith
It is slightly larger but 8 inches is the "usable" internal height.

If my diff cover fits in the oven, can it heat up a heavy piece of steel like a custom diff cover and end up with a nice powder coated surface? Also, what kind of tape/material should be used to plug threaded holes and the such?

Asked by: DIYJOE
As long as the part fits you should have no problem powder coating it. On thick parts simply have the oven up to 450F and minimize how long you have the door open when loading the part. Having the oven up to 450F will help the large part get to temp quickly since there is more heat to absorb. Once the powder flows out turn the temp back down to 400F to finish the cure. Our silicon plug kit is perfect to protect threaded holes from un wanted powder.

If this is a convection oven can a convection oven like you buy in Walmart be used as well?

Asked by: Teri
This is a convection oven to speed the heating and cure times of your powders. While you could use other ovens this one will have generous inside dimensions for fitting your parts.

I heard the fan running the first time I used the oven. I haven't heard or seen the fan run since. Is the fan supposed to run anytime the heat is on? Also, when you need to heat a part with the oven on its side, which side goes up?

Asked by: tomb
The fan should be running. If it isn't we would recommend you contacting our Customer solutions team at 1800-343-9353 or Orderhelp@Eastwood.com

I have been using this oven for about 4 months and it suddenly stopped heating. Everything else works but the heating elements have stopped producing heat. Is there a simple fix for this or do I need a new oven?
