Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice gun for the money! I've had this gun for about 4 years now. My first mid priced spray gun, and I learned to paint with this. I've painted 4 whole cars, and around 10 blend/repair jobs. I use the 1.4 for base and the 1.3 for clear. I've laid down some nice finishes with it. It atomizes well. I would recommend the CC500 to anyone getting into painting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Gun! I have been using the DB Starting Line guns for over 10 years doing custom paint on the side and as a hobby. This gun is a good price and lays down just as or smoother than those and is lighter and smaller but not smaller in your hand, more like less bulkier. Very awesome gun and I tested it with some HOK sealer and then the final clear with the UFC-35 both with the 1.3 tip and it was smooth as glass. Love this gun and definitely recommend it.

Do you now have a 1.8 tip for a CC500 gun?

No, the Eastwood Elite CC500 Paint Gun does not support a 1.8mm tip. It is specifically designed for color or clear coat applications and includes 1.3mm and 1.4mm needle/nozzle sets for these purposes

I got my CC500 and love it but I want to add my Luma 2 light but Thay don't offer a bracket for this gun. Is this gun similar to a name brand gun?
