Mix well
Used the aplication gun to do my trailer frame. It seeps in and was not messy. Stir it up well before using, so the black pigment doesn't plug up the gun.

Excellent products
Your products are excellent. Will always buy from Eastwood. I ordered black Heavy Duty Anti Rust and they sent me amber by mistake. Still have to resolve this issue.

Amber was better!
Recently purchased the Heavy-Duty Anti-Rust in Black aerosol. I couldn’t find the Amber that Eastwood used to sell. The Black seems to be really runny compared to the Amber. It just hit the panels, ran down or out of the holes (made an huge mess!) and didn’t seem to creep into the nooks and crannies like the amber had done. Thought maybe I had to shake the can more, but that didn’t help either. The panels I sprayed were clean and free of any grease or oil so I don’t know why this product behaved so different from the amber. I wouldn’t recommend the aerosol, maybe the product in the quart where you could brush on in accessible areas or use a compressor to apply in hard to reach areas would be better. Eastwood bring back the amber or at least its formulation!!

Still sticky and paint scratches off easaly
I painted my leaf springs and some other things on my truck with the Heavy Duty Anti Rust Qts Black about 12 days ago and the paint is still a little sticky and if you take your finger nail and put the tiniest bit of pressure the paint scrapes right off. The paint gives a nice and thick coat which is nice but the paint doesn't dry very well.

Would this be good to use on coil over type suspension? I want to protect the threads but still allow the collars to spin
Yes. This can be used for the application in reference. It is a oil/wax based coating that won't fully cure/ harden.

Can this be used on new control arms for long time rust prevention. I also am looking for a rust preventative parts like steering knuckles after sand blasting to clean metal; will this product work?
Yes it can be used for the application in reference but keep in mind this is an oil/wax based coating and will break down with exposure and time. It will need to be re applied.

No, this product is not a rust-killing product it is designed to go over a clean rust-free surface.

Can this Heavy Duty Anti-Rust go over paint/clear coat? I want to put it over pinch weld locations that are painted, but if it will eat through paint/clear coat I will not use it. Product says it contains Acetone.
Yes, once the coating is fully cured there should be no issues at all.
