Eastwood Internal Frame Coating Plus is a high performance, moisture-cured urethane coating that encapsulates and stops rust from spreading. Internal Frame Coating Plus does not require a top coat except when exposed to direct sunlight. Internal Frame Coating Plus may be top coated with most high quality coatings. Apply over bare metal surfaces or rusted areas. Internal Frame Coating Plus is ideal for any type of rusted metal surface and can withstand temperatures up to 350 degrees F. Packaged in a large 16 ounce aerosol spray can.

Some people shouldn’t work on cars
This stuff is great and very innovative. It amazes me that a small coiled tube befuzzles people. They’re not going to ship it flat and stretched out in a 24 inch box genius. You can straighten this out any number of ways or just zip tie it to a small rod to insert it your frame.

Internal frame coating
Very good stuff. I use it in all the body channels and braces also, maybe even better for that. I found that you need to heat the hose up and it will straighten out nice. It comes rolled up in a bag and hard to use as it comes. Otherwise no problems at all and pretty fast drying. Will be using more of this for sure.

Great product to rustproof the inside of a frame
This was the best way to rustproof the inside of my frame. The spray tube appeared to get right into all areas. A good coating.

Seem like a good product
Seems like a good product easy to use, product is very thin. Which allows it to get in-between very tight spots. Used 3 can and sprayed 85% of my vehicle i would and will buy again

Messy stuff
This is a good product, but it’s messy. Coverage appears to be thorough, but it drips everywhere, much more so than amber rust proofing.

It will not harm. It's not an oil based product.

Can this be top coated if used on an area with internal and external areas? Any limits of what it can be top coated with?
Yes it can be top coated. I suggest the 2K ceramic chassis black

how many cans would be needed to do inside a tahoe frame?
An Aerosol covers 10 sq. ft. you would have to measure the vehicle.

I'm unable to clean the inside of my frame as much as I'd like. I used hi press water&air, and a lot of junk comes out but if I stick my finger in the small openings in the frame, I still feel some loose grit. Will this frame coating seal over the grit?
Yes, the Internal Frame Coating will seal over this as long as the surface is thoroughly dried first. I would recommend a second coat to ensure everything is fully coated.

Can, or is it recommended to use the internal frame coating on a new bare steel frame? At this time there is now rust. If not, can you recommend another product. Thank you
Absolutely! Rust does not have to be present for this product to be used; it can be used on clean metal surfaces too.

Applied this to interior of steel fitness equipment. I was sloppy and got some of the Eastwood product on the black textured powder coated exterior. Best way to remove those spots without damaging the powder coating? Thanks!!
Unfortunately, this is not going to be easily removed with anything with will not damage that powder coating. If I would recommend anything it would be possibly trying some acetone.

Does this product "convert" rust and seal to prevent future rust, or are we just sealing any rust? Do you recommend applying rust converter prior to this internal frame coating? Thanks
