I used this at 1 part activator to 4 parts paint color by weight. Product cured to the touch in approximately 4 - 5 hours in 85-90F temperature. Cured to a nice hardness and is solvent proof.

nice aluminum engine paint not a dead ringer for aluminum but fairly close without the tacky shiny gloss you get from spray cans hardens like a rock but dries slow cant really work with painted parts for a day or so I would recommend this to anyone needing a durable aluminum finish on parts. well worth the money much cheaper than dupont! Also mixes and sprays very nice I used accuspray gun with 1.7 tip and was pleased with the results

Is this a good paint system for motor cycle gas tanks ? That spilled gas will not harm ?
Our Paint with activator will resist gas. It is not recommend to allow gas sit on the paint.

Is this (4:1 urethane activator for ceramic paint) not available in slow/med/fast?
Correct. This is a medium speed activator for our engine paints and chassis paints. You can utilize a specific speed reducer to aid with flow out.

Can Eastwood activators and reducers be used with PPG DCC urethane coatings? I have a pint can of the coating and the PPC activators/reducers come in very large and expensive quantities. Please advise.
No, you should never mix and match activators between paint systems, even within the same brand. Each paint material specifies which activator to use, and you will need to stick to that requirement. While all modern paint systems are very similar, even sometimes using the same chemicals within them, each one is proprietary to the paint material it was designed for.
