With a hickory handle and hard high carbon steel head, this body hammer will serve you well for years. This heavier hammer features a perfectly flat square face. This hammer is great for working metal when right up against an edge or body line. The face dimensions are 1.93 inches high by 1.24 inches wide.
FAIRMOUNT® Body Hammers are designed for precision metal shaping as performed by skilled craftsman for more than 100 years. The hand ground and polished head is securely mounted to the hickory wooden handle, giving you the comfort and control you need to achieve professional results. The Flat Dressing Hammer has a uniquely designed rectangle head, ideal for getting into 90° corners where a round hammer just won't work. Its single sided, short throw head is ideal for close work on tight corners. The head surface is ground with a slight radius for precision panel manipulation.

Safety Information
Always wear eye and skin protection when metal forming. DO NOT hit a hammer directly on to a dolly. These are heat treated tools and can chip sending fragments airborne.
Remove all paints, coatings, sound deadeners, and contaminants. Thoroughly clean inner and outer surfaces of substrate before forming. Use dedicated hammers and dollies for aluminum work. Using hammers and dollies on steel will imbed steel shards into the aluminum thus causing rust.
