Application Tips
Apply with a brush or with an undercoating gun. Remove loose scale and rust. Apply directly over surface rust and bare metal to desired film build. Allow 24 hours for full cure for 68 degree F at 50 percent humidity. Thickness and weather conditions can affect dry times.

Worth every penny if you like value and quality
You get what you pay for and with this product, it certainly is worth the money. It lays out nice, and spread like butter directly over rust. The coverage is amazing and it also goes a long way per ounce.

The most recent RUST ENCAPSULATOR went on THICK and dried fast. Made my drums and tear axle look Amazing!!

I’m looking for an undercoat for pickup bed. I’m trying to find somthjj in bag that will help mute the bed. I have loud exhaust and the bed resonates and creat a lot of add sound. Will this product act as a sound barrier as well?

How does it compare to DIY bedliners, like 'Herculiner'? More flexible or about the same? Thicker or thinner? Better adhesion to rusty metal? .
This is a Rubberized Encapsulator.
"Combining an Undercoating with the rust prevention properties of the Encapsulator".
Spray on Bed liners are to protect from dent damage to the surfaces.

Can I use this product over previously applied Heavy-Duty Anti Rust product?
This cannot be applied over Heavy Duty Anti- Rust. No coatings/top coats will adhere over the Heavy Duty Anti Rust since it is a wax/oil based coating that doesn't fully cure.

If left on the surface overtime yes it can. As long as it is removed or cleaned in a timely manner you would be fine.

unhappy with rust encapsulator. If I buff the frame as best as possible with wire brush, clean with pre paint prep (TEM # 10041Z), and then using rust converter (ITEM # 51483) can i finish with rubberized encapsulator ITEM # 51483??

Looking to use this on my above ground pool. The coping that holds the liner in place is galvanized and it is rusting away all the way around my pool. Will this work on galvanized metal?
This product will work on galvanized metal, make sure the area is scuffed and cleaned prior to applying.
