Flexible Primer Surfacer is a flexible, sandable primer capable of adhering to difficult plastics and hiding minor surface defects.
This convenient aerosol primer is ideal for flexible bumper repairs. Can also be used on urethane's, plastics, and other substrates. Builds quickly thanks to its high solids formulation. Sands easily. Compatible with most automotive finishes. One can covers about 10 square feet.
Always wear eye, skin and respiratory protection when working with paints and chemicals Always apply in a well-ventilated area away from open flame. Shelf life is 2 years under normal cool and dry conditions. Keep away from children. Consult MSDS for specific warnings and precautions.
Clean surface with PRE Painting Prep, then prep with Plastic Prep (see "Accessories" tab for both). Apply 2 medium coats, allowing 5-10-minute flash time between coats. 30-40 minutes for full cure. Block-sand with 320-400-grit. Apply topcoat.

Works great on plasticBought this to prime plastic catchers masks. First primer I've found that holds well. Haven't seen how it holds up to a baseball season yet. Builds very nicely folling the instructions on the can. I scuffed the surface, used SEM plastic prep and then this primer. 3 light coats and I have full coverage and good build. was able to scuff the surface and paint. Very happy with it so far.

Great productThis product sprays easily and builds up nicely. Very easy to sand and adhesion to fiberglass is excellent.
Can this be used on the plastic panels on my ATV?

Are the SEM flexible aerosol paints (primer and color coat) OK for plastic automobile bumpers?

Yes they can be used on plastic bumpers. Just be sure to abrade the surface with a scuff pad or sandpaper for the best adhesion.

May this be used as adhesive promotion over 2K Ure. Primer where sanded through to plastic (since traditional adhesive pro cannot be applied on/btw primers layers). How long should the sanded SEM Flexible cue before applying 2K Polyester Contour Primer?

This product is designed to be applied to bare substrates. it should not be applied over existing finishes/primers.
