Just what I neededI recently bought a used older model TIG200 from a friend who was upgrading his machine (enjoying the machine). The foot pedal is what I needed to have control starting and ending passes. The amp control also assist in easily getting the best stoke of the pedal for the thickness materiel you are welding. It seems to match the machine settings very well. The unit seems well made and should last this careful hobbyist nicely. Eastwood's video demonstrations on the use of a "pedal" and the positive reviews here sold me and I am very satisfied - Thank you

TIG 200 AC/DC upgrade pedalJust got it and tried it today - much better than the original half-pedal. I tried one of those cheap metal pedals with the exposed gear rack but found it had the wrong potentiometer range and was wired backwards for my machine. After replacing and rewiring the potentiometer it was only marginally better than the original pedal. After I got the correct Eastwood upgrade pedal and checking all 3 on my multimeter I am happy to report that the Eastwood upgrade pedal has the largest usable range <0~5K> and the smoothest, most linear action of the 3. It looks like all new TIG 200s ship with this pedal which is good. If you have the half pedal just keep it for a spare and get the upgrade pedal, especially for low amperage work.

TIG Pedal UpgradeI thought that I had already provided a review on this product earlier. Oh well... This pedal is light years better than they one I received with my original TIG purchase. The original was super sensitive or would "walk" causing heat/amp issues. I had to concentrate too much on pedal. Scott, worked with me to solve my TIG issues and upgraded my original pedal with a newly designed one. The only draw back, at least for me, is that the amp control knob should be better protected against large boots slipping off pedal and "hitting" the exposed knob. The original one lack this feature too. Perhaps adding a guard???? Great customer service!!!!
Dose this unit allow the user to vary the current with there foot or do you have to set the current to a specific amperage

I have a tig 200 ac/dc and bought the upgraded foot pedal. Is there any reason you couldn't run the cable out the other end of the pedal. It seems to be in way coming out towards my heel and my chair. Just suggestion to make it better.

Il this is a lil older post but if you are still wanting to know if this pedal works with the lotos tig200ac/dc machine it does! I just got thos pedal for the same machine you are asking about and it was plug and play works 100% better than the lotos pedal. Hope this helps you or anyome else looking for a replacement pedal for the lotos
