Rated 5 out of 5 by from They work. These are a beast. They hold up pretty well considering the abuse you are going to give them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Show Me the Rust !! Great tool to remove loose rust. I used a battery powered drill with this wire wheel and cleaned up an extremely rusty skid plate on my Xterra. Advice (Set up a nice dropcloth to collect the wire bristles which will be released during operation and wear the proper PPE.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Helpful to handle rust removal. The cylindrical wire tool worked well. If I was working on a larger flat surface these work better for that purpose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceeded my expectations These look cheap, but I decided to give them a try anyways. After 2 hours of using a wire wheel on my grinder I switched to these brushes to reach all the small spots I missed, and to my surprise they cleaned areas I already brushed so much that I did the entire frame with these and ended up with a nice bright metal surface. Next time I probably wont even use my angle grinder. They will break quickly if you apply too much pressure, but after breaking one, I figured it out and didn't break any more. I did my entire 2nd gen camaro subframe with 3 brushes.

Questions & Answers

Do you have any small diameter brushes. I need to clean out tapped holes in an old MG frame that are not SAE or METRIC threads?

Asked by: JOE K
Unfortunately these are the smallest brushes we offer at this time,

Will a 1/4" drill chuck work? I.E. what is the diameter of the shaft?

Asked by: flanch
Once I submitted this question I was given the opportunity to go on-line and answer my own question. This seems somewhat ironic as I was the one with the question in the first place. Oh-well, I called Eastwood at customer service was kind enough to answer the question. The answer is 5/16"

Would the wires in these be considered "course" (.015" diameter) or "fine" (.01" diameter)?

Asked by: brett45209
Hello, The wires on the cylinder brushes would be considered course.
