Rated 5 out of 5 by from Standard lead body filling kit Preparation of the surface is important. The included dvd makes the process easy to follow, producing great results

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great and a good value. I used this kit to repair a badly dented, steel motorcycle tank. After cleaning it thoroughly, of course... I found it easy to use after watching the video three times and practicing on some scrap sheet metal. The contours were only a bit challenging and turned out well. When finished, it took very little filler to complete the project. I would recommend this kit for someone with a small project, but it could easily be expanded by simply buying more solder and a half-round, since they give you enough tinning butter and tallow for a much larger job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really good product I bought this to finish up the roof seams on a set of full Nova qtrs. I used to use another product but have seen expansion issues on the last couple of projects, so I decided to go back to how they used to do it since Eastwood offers the kit! If you can sweat copper pipes-you can lead with this kit. I was really pleased with how well the product worked; the only thing I recommend is updating the video:)

Greetings. What is the melting point of your lead solder product? I need to know as I will be powdercoating the part afterwards, and those ovens can reach up to 400 degrees. Thanks, Jeff

Asked by: JEFFERY
The melting point for this is around 360F. You would need to use the High Temp Lab Metal for filling purposes when powder coating afterwards: https://www.eastwood.com/hi-temp-lab-metal-24-oz.html
