Max Temperature: Paint will handle up to 300 degrees without delamination, but color shift may occur, so it should not be used in a high heat setting

Can this paint tolerate some heat? Or do I have to use a different paint on the underside of the hood and on the radiator support?

Some heat under-hood can be tolerated. Mopar restorations always have body color in the engine bay and under-hood. I have done this for years with base/clear and single stage effectively.

Do you need any special paint gun? Does it work on any kind of primer as well?

i would use a standard HVLP gun. i like to use quality primers and avoid the the dollar store stuff to make sure you get good adhesion and even color .

Is the paint sample shown made by mixing Platinum Frost Silver Metallic and Eastwood Blue Pearl one-to-one? I know it's Intermix, so many shades could be created depending on the mixing ratio.
